We have a lot of screenings to fill and are looking for some great films.  In an attempt to limit submissions there is a non-refundable $30 submission fee which covers the cost of viewing, reviewing and processing submissions.

We are looking to make a statement to the Industry about the quality and creativity of today’s Indie Filmmaker. For this reason we are ONLY looking for films that meet these standards:

  1. Not produced by or with the backing of a major studio.
  2. Display a high level of filmmaking skill and/or provide a story, issue, topic so compelling that it holds the audience at attention for its entirety.
  3. Films longer then 12 minutes should be or have been accepted to screen at a qualified film festival (meaning the festival has been around for at least 5 years) If not, you must include a note with a compelling reason why your film should be screened, with your submission.
  4. Films should have completed production after January 1, 2000


FILMS ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM will be put on a list and entered into the program. BUT NO DATE WILL BE SET FOR SCREENING. Screening program (dates/times) will be set with ONLY TWO WEEKS advance notice to filmmaker and taken in order from the list (example..If your film was 20th on list and we are showing about 6 films per week, you could estimate that your film will be shown in 3 weeks). Times and days will be in random order, for this reason filmmakers should not petition for special times or days.

Filmmakers (Accepted Films) will get ten (10) free tickets to screening and a table in theatre lobby will be made available for filmmakers use if requested (ie, sell DVD's, autographs, distributor info, etc..). Q&A time will be available after show but time might be limited.

Filmmaker is responsible for delivery and pick-up of PRINTs. DVD's which are not picked up will be housed in library or destroyed. ALL EXHIBITION COPIES MUST BE PICKED UP BY FILMMAKERS IF YOU WOULD LIKE THEM RETURNED.

Please Include:

1) Your film on DVD or VHS (region 0 or 1).
2) Your contact Info.
3) Press Kit or Info on the film including festivals played.
4) Check for $30us made out to:   MIA GROUP

Your video will not be returned. 
Please include a postage paid post card if you would like to be notified of its arrival.
We keep your film on file for up to 12 months.
